Prayer and fasting is necessary for any Christian - and a sure way to hear from God fully.

From the old to the new testament, we can see examples of men and women who disciplined their flesh, and deepened their connection with God.

…I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves before our God and ask him for a safe journey for us and our children, with all our possessions….So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer

Greater intimacy with God. When you fast, you subdue your physical man, and connect deeper with what God.

Our ears open to what God is saying through the Holy Spirit. You have less distraction, and gain more clarity.

Fasting and prayer intensifies our request to God, and speeds up our answers. When you pray and fast, you're removing anything that is against the promises of God over your life.
